Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum

In the Seminole Mikasukee language, Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki means "to learn"

Located on the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation, visitors to this unique museum complex will find a rare collection of cultural artifacts and native art displayed in the 5,000-sq-ft exhibit hall, as well as interactive computers; walk to a Living Seminole Village, where native arts and crafts are demonstrated, and storytelling is presented in the amphitheatre during special events. A 1 1/2 mile boardwalk winds through the swamp, highlighted by signage describing the plant life and the Seminole's use for them; trails are accessible, and wheelchairs provided if needed. Educational and general group tours available as well as special group rates. Open Tuesday-Sunday, call for holiday hours.
